We need considerably more solar energy in Finland
Solar power plants accelerate the transition to clean and green electricity. They also offer significant synergy benefits with Finnish wind power.
Our solar power plants are industrial projects located on peatlands and other large land areas. It is particularly important for us to enhance the biodiversity of the area and consider how we can protect or create habitats for plants, insects, or other wildlife.
Solar power projects impact various local stakeholders, so their diverse needs and perspectives must be taken into account well in advance.

Forus develops projects to the construction-ready stage, and Better Energy finances and constructs them. Subsequently, the generated electricity is sold to the grid.
